Editor's letter.

P. 09 — 11

For a decade we mistook our screens for windows. They were never windows; they were walls that glowed. FRAME began as a protest against the default wallpaper — the bundled satellite shot, the stock nebula, the gradient of the season. We wanted something considered. Something that treated the desktop the way a good magazine treats its pages.

Each issue is a dossier: a place, a body of work, a photographer or an algorithm, delivered in twelve calibrated files. We publish four times a year, on the solstices and equinoxes, and we ship a companion broadsheet with curator notes to subscribers in print. Read slowly. Look slower.

P. 12 — 14

"The first wallpaper subscription that reads like a magazine — and publishes like one. FRAME has quietly become the most considered release in the category."

— It's Nice That, April 2026

"An exercise in restraint. Each issue feels commissioned rather than curated. Worth the subscription for the curator notes alone."

— The New Yorker, Books & Arts
