A wedding booth earns its keep after dinner. Speeches run long, the dance floor takes a while to fill, and there is always a stretch where half the room is looking for something to do — that is the gap the booth fills, and it is why placement near the bar or the dance floor entrance matters more than the booth itself.
Guests take a strip each and leave one behind if you want a guest book. Prints come out fast enough to keep the line moving, which is the difference between a booth people use and one they give up on. Everything is delivered by text and email as well, so nobody is relying on a paper strip surviving the night.

Setting up during cocktail hour but opening after the speeches gets far more use than running it all evening.
Placement beats hours
A booth in a side room stays empty. Near the bar or the dance floor entrance, it runs constantly.
Backdrop with the room
Pick one against your florals and linens rather than in isolation — the sequins read very differently in a ballroom than in a barn.
Weddings questions
- When should the booth open at a wedding?
- Usually right after dinner and speeches. Guests are up and moving, the dance floor is still filling, and that is when the line forms on its own. We set up earlier so nothing is being assembled in front of guests.
- Can guests leave a photo in a guest book?
- Yes — prints are unlimited, so guests can take a strip and leave a second one. Tell us in advance and we will set the layout up for it.
- Do we need to feed the attendant?
- Yes please — the attendant is on site for the whole booking, so include them in your vendor meal count. Most venues have a vendor rate for exactly this.
